Put BIM into your Landscape
Put Landscape into your BIM
Let's be honest, landscape designer try to avoid BIM, but soon or later you have to adopt and you need to get it to work an in to your daily workflow. Bottom line, that's what I do. And if you want to learn more about working with me, pick up the phone and give me a call (or email).
The accelerator was fun and a great learning experience. I was able to set up a proof of concept for a bi-directional connection between two mobile devices.
A person at the planting site can request an asset (tree) selected from a BIM model at a tablet and get a response from a person's mobile phone in the on-site stock.
Since then, I added the possibility to use a camera connected to the tablet. Thus the machine operator can identify the tree by QR encoded article number and display in the viewer the associate planting positions.
